


Sam Hamidi-Kazemian born on February 12, 1993, is an Iranian-American software programmer. Sam is the founder of Frax Finance, a decentralized stablecoin cryptocurrency protocol. Formerly, he co-based Everipedia, a for-earnings, wiki-based online encyclopedia. Hamidi-Kazemian launched Everipedia with Theodor Forselius in December 2014 and later served as its President. In 2019, he started the improvement of Frax, a fractional stablecoin cryptocurrency. As of January 2022, Frax is ranked the 5th biggest stablecoin through market capitalization in keeping with cryptocurrency rating internet site Defipulse.com.
Sam Hamidi-Kazemian graduated from the University of California, l.a. (UCLA) in 2015.
Tarting as a small venture in Kazemian’s dormitory room at UCLA, Sam Kazemian based Everipedia with Theodor Forselius in December 2014.
In 2017, Kazemian advised Boing Boing that “Wikia, like Wikipedia, uses an honestly old software program constructed in 2001. in the meantime, there are many new, contemporary crowd-information websites like Genius, Quora, and StackOverflow. Still, no one ever attempted to attack the original beast – a wiki of everything – with the brand new, contemporary tools. that is what Everipedia objectives to do.”
In 2019, Kazemian launched Frax, a stablecoin cryptocurrency, with Trump’s senior financial consultant Stephen Moore.
