The identity of the Shiba Inu token founder and creator is a question that has circulated among SHIB holders during the 2020-2021 years.
The self-described ‘Dogecoin killer’ cryptocurrency, since its formation in August 2020, has garnered a significant amount of attention. SHIB sits atop the crypto-charts for the most coins in circulation – over 594 trillion in existence.
Almost nothing is known about the mystery cryptocurrency founder under the name Ryoshi. He remains nameless similar to the founder of Bitcoin – Satoshi Nakamoto.
SHIB was founded in August 2020 as a decentralized meme token. Ryoshi gave 50% of all SHIB to the Ethereum co-founder, Vitalik Buterin. Buterin has donated his collection of SHIB and other ‘meme coins’ to charity.
LEASH is another cryptocurrency within the Shiba Inu ecosystem, which Ryoshi also created. As defined on the official Shiba Inu Coin website, LEASH “has the opposite appeal to SHIB” as the simplest 100,000 LEASH is in existence, with a current rate of $1570. However, a lot of the continued work for the Shiba ecosystem comes from other people. These encompass Shytoshi Kusama, its volunteer project lead. Shytoshi is at the back of the announcements for many new SHIB projects, including the Shiboshi NFTs and the upcoming Shiba Inu game. Ryoshi’s vision remains principal, though. Projects such as Shibarium, ShibaNet, and the SHI stablecoin have been first invented through Ryoshi in his various blog posts.
