Kris Marszalek

Kris Marszalek is a Polish entrepreneur. He is the CEO of the Singapore-based crypto and payments platform Crypto.com. Marszalek founded several startups before venturing into the crypto space, including the powerful e-commerce platform Beecrazy, which he sold to iBuy Group Limited in 2013. Before launching Crypto.com, Marszalek served as CEO of Ensogo, an online discount retailer in Southeast Asia. Cryptocurrency enthusiasts might remember the crypto payment company Monaco. Founded in 2016, it was one of the first blockchain-based debit cards offering users control over their finances and data.

Kris has been one of these ambitious global entrepreneurs to bring products and services at scale to the crypto communities. Kris and Crypto.com move fast and deliver quality products announcing a series of integrations, including Travala.com, Ecwid, and Ledger.

Within the next five years, Kris Marszalek hopes to have 150 million users on the platform. In addition, Crypto.com’s recent foray into the expanding DeFi space positions it well for the last year. Despite all of the success, Crypto.com and Kris have a tough start to the new year.

In January 2022, Crypto.com was the sufferer of a hack totaling $15 million in stolen Ether. After a few users stated suspicious activity on their bills, the organization paused withdrawals. Withdrawal services later were restored with a declaration from the company that no client funds were misplaced. After this hack, Crypto.com desired to strengthen its protection, and Kris said one of the company’s top priorities is to improve security.
